Gautami was a cancer patient in 2004, and in discussing her transformative experience, she understood the potency of sharing.

Recognising the need for community, she founded the Life Again Foundation with Ms Hyma Reddy to both provide functional and compassionate support and promote existing policies to disadvantaged peoples. Her three primary areas of concentration are health, education, and agriculture.
